Died: May 21, 2022 in Sterling, IL
ROCK FALLS – Todd D. Day, age 55, died Saturday, May 21, 2022 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.
Todd was born on August 16, 1966 in Sterling the son of Norman and Linda (Bonner) Day. He was employed as a Machinist and Welder for 15 years at John Deere in Dubuque, Iowa. Todd enjoyed going to auctions, fishing and kayaking in his younger days.
Survivors include his mother, Linda Day of Rock Falls; one daughter, Shasta (Damien Martin) Day of Prophetstown; one son, Shannon (Ashley Fenton) Day of Sterling; two sisters, Kelly (Doug) Meyer of Placida, Fla. and Lori Fagan of Rock Falls; three grandchildren, Eli and Brooklynn Day and Cora Kemp.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, May 26, 2022 at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Private family burial will be held at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the University of Iowa Multiple Myeloma Program.
