God's grace to you, Cindy.

A'Jene beat us to heaven!!
It's hard to imagine that.

Frankly, he was one of my favorite kids.

Do you remember the Sandi Patty concert when he was on stage standing right beside her? Remember how he kinda puckered his lips out, I guess because he was nervous? Everybody just laughed and enjoyed that moment!

What excites me is that he is now in the place where all of life finds its fulfillment.

Sandra's and my heart go out to you, Kareem and the entire family.

Remember, grief is not bad. It shows us how much we have loved.

R.I.P. Ajene Kiambu Flannings! You were too young to have your life end so soon and suddenly. Even though you will be missed greatly, God has other plans for you and He knows best. Do your work for Him in heaven now. That will be the greatest accomplishment that you could ever achieve. Much love for you, your family, and loved ones. Peace be with you!

To Ms. Cindy and family, my deepest sympathy and my prayers are with you. I am so amazed at how well you are holding up! That is total proof that God is truly amazing and pulls us through ALL difficult times. No one else can compare. I am always here for all of you to do anything in my power if you need me to do it. Love you all, forever and always!

cindy and family,
just always know that god, don't put no more on us than we can bare.you see god don't make mistakes and everything happens for a reason maybe he only knows the reason.i have walked the walk that you are now taking and it takes a lot of praying and believing to get through it but you can do it.
cindy god is so good and he will never fail you all you have to do is call out to him and he hears your every cry.he is here for you.you are a good and kind person,i always reflect on the good times we used to have.those were the good ol days...well i can't tell you how to not grieve because i still do grieve for my son. i truly miss him so much...just store all the good times and all the love you guys shared in you heart because no one can take that from you.god gave you that.and as you go on living your life always know that your son still lives in your heart.and on a quiet day if you listen closely as i do you will feel and hear his presence...

A'Jene I have fond memories of you and the loving home that you grew up in. 60th Street would not have been the same without you. I will always admire your will to explore and experience different things. I remember the trips to Lincon Street Y and you and Kareem helping me finish my deck. How about all that soda you all would drink. Secret: the soda was watered down. Those were the good ole days. Agape, Charles Gilyard

My Memories
I remember us playing together after school.
I remember us riding the school bus together and you making beats on the window.
I remember going to summer camp together.

Precious Lord, Take My Hand

Precious Lord, take my hand
Lead me on, help me stand
I am tired
I am weak
I am worn
Through the storm,
Through the night
Lead me on to the light
Take my hand, precious Lord
Lead me home

When my way grows drear'
Precious Lord, linger near
When my life is almost gone
Hear my cry, hear my call
Hold my hand, lest I fall
Take my hand, precious Lord
Lead me home
Take my hand, precious Lord
Lead me home
