My heart goes out to the Connelly and the Winters family. I;m so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Adam will be missed dearly, We lost touch over the years, but in middle school and high school we had a lot of great times. He was a very sweet guy that had the best smile.

Dearest Uncle Bill, Aunt Gwen, Little Billy and Ricky,
My Bible Study Fellowship class is studying Romans. This past week I got to tell them about Adam and his sacrifice. Romans 12:1-2 holds a whole new meaning for me in light of our loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Gosh, how time flies. Once he was a tiny baby and the next he is a grown man and a father. I will always treasure my memories of sweet little Adam. Always with a smile and hug just for me. I have a picture in my mind and what comfort it provides... I can see Mema, Linda and Adam flying away. "Catch me, catch me, if you can! Oh what times they are having. So much love on the other HEAVEN side... too. And as "The Bird" would say "I Love you all with ALL my heart".

ON BEHALF OF MY SISTER AND I WE WISH TO CONVEY OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHIES TO THE CONNELLY AND WINTERS FAMILIES. ADAM WAS A SMALL PART OF OUR LIVES LONG AGO IN MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL BUT WE BOTH STILL REMEMBER THAT GREAT SMILE AND THE SILLY TIMES EVERYONE HAD AT THE SKATING RINK.
IF THERE'S ONE THING MY SISTER AND I HAVE LEARNED IT'S THAT LIFE KIND OF HAS IT'S OWN PATTERN ALREADY SET IN MOTION AND YOU'RE JUST ALONG FOR THE RIDE. DESTINY I SUPPOSE. FROM ALL ACCOUNTS ADAM HAD THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING AND THAT WAS HIS FAMILY. I SAW A PICTURE ONCE OF HIS SON ERIC AND I REMEMBER THINKING "MY GOSH, THAT'S A LITTLE MINIATURE ADAM". SO YOU SEE HE MAY GONE, BUT HE'S LEFT THE BIGGEST PIECE OF HIMSELF TO CARRY ON & LIVE ON SO HE'S NOT REALLY GONE AFTER ALL.

Amber,
I started thinking the other day about the funny story of how you and Adam first got together. We could sit here and laugh for hours about all the funny memories of those times! He was such a great guy, so light-hearted and funny. We are all going to miss him so very much. I guess I'm going to have to find another bodyguard now. Adam took the best care of me - you know what I mean. He stepped in and acted like my very own brother that one night in particular...and as I told you, it was very effective! No problems since! Anyway, I love you and Eric so much and you know that you can call me anytime that you need anything. Even though we get busy at times, you will always hold a very special place in my heart, as will Adam. I will continue to pray during this difficult time in your life.

Amber Sheree and Eric,
The past few days I have been remembering all of the wonderful advice and encouragement that Adam gave me through alot of my hard times. He is so wonderful and always wanted everyone he cared about to be happy! I wish I could find the words to say to you now to pacify you just as his words used to do to me, but none come to mind other than stay strong and know that you will never ever be alone. He will be so missed, but never far.
I wish I could be there with you to hold you and catch your tears, but I know that somebody even better is doing that for me now. I love you so much Amber and Eric, and am thinking about you and praying for you every second. If you need anything please dont hesitate to call and tell me! I am not too far! I am coming home to see you.

Adam, thank you for a strong will and determination to pursue what life brought forth. You are truly going to be missed, not only as a father, but also as an amazing person who put others in front of yourself. It hurts and saddens my heart to know this happened to Adam and his family. During this rough time the whole family is in my heart and in my prayers. Words cannot truly express the emotion of a loss; its during these times we remember and honor his life as he would have seen fit. I've known Adam since he was about 13, he and my brother Bear became good friends. He practically lived at my parents house, and was always welcomed without a doubt. He was like a brother to me as well. We all grew up together. He was such a special person and I can't begin to express how much of a pleasure it was to know him. Adam is a special person who will always be remembered for his kindness, care and concern for others. Adam was the first person that called me when I was diagnosed as a diabetic last November. From answering questions, helping me learn to give myself shots, to calling a couple of times a week to make sure I was ok. It was a scary time for me, but he gave me a long talk and a big hug and told me everything would be ok, which help put my heart and mind at ease. I know there is an Angel above watching over all of us and that all his pain and suffering is gone and his heart smiling.
