Alan Tebbetts Obituary

Alan Richard Tebbetts, II, 44, of Savannah, GA passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 in Richmond Hill, GA.

Alan was born in Savannah, GA to Alan and Ann Tebbetts on May 31, 1974. He joined the U.S. Army in 1996 and proudly served his country as a forward observer in the Field Artillery until 2002. He married Tammi Ushman Tebbetts, the love of his life, on October 23, 1998 in Belton, TX and has two beautiful daughters. Alan worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for the past 15 years as a track engineer traveling all over the U.S. He is known as being the best "Cheer Dad" ever and all who knew him knew how much his family meant to him. He never met a stranger and would help anyone in need. We cannot forget his love of the Georgia Bulldogs.

He is survived by his wife, Tammi Ushman Tebbetts; daughters, Bryanna and Savannah Tebbetts; parents, Alan and Ann Tebbetts; sister, Ann Marie Gober (Josh); honorary sister, Kimberly Clay; brother-in-law, Douglas Buethe; sister-in-law, Stephanie Mabry; and many other beloved family members and friends.

Funeral services will begin at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at St. Anne's Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Online condolences can be made at www.carterbryanchapel.com.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the In Memory of Alan R. Tebbetts, II GoFundMe page at https://www.gofundme.com/altebbetts.
