Alberta Schlogl Obituary

Alberta Schlogl - SAVANNAH - Alberta K. Mombow Schlogl, 82, born in Bunker Hill, IL, one of ten children born to Edgar and Theresa Knoche. She is survived by her husband, HMC Carl J. Schlogl, U. S. Navy (Ret.), of Savannah; daughter, Carla (Raymond) Nesbitt of Thunderbolt; granddaughter, Meredith Nesbitt (James) Atwood; two great-grandchildren, James and Stella Atwood of Roswell, Georgia; sister, Edna Picton of Peoria, IL; sister-in-law, Shirley Knoche of Bunker Hill, IL; brothers-in-law, Edward (Joanie) Schlogl of Hazelwood, MO; Richard Schlogl of New Orleans, LA; sister-in-law Joyce (Jim) Wells of Picayune, MS; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Monday at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue, with the vigil service being held at 7 o'clock in the chapel. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens conducted by The Reverend Francis C. Higgins. In lieu of flowers the family suggests remembrances to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - Post Office Box 1000, Memphis, Tennessee 38148-0142.
