Sorry to hear of your loss. I did not hear about him passing until it was to late. Algerine will be missed by all who knew him. I still have those fond memories of him coming to stay with mama and daddy (uncle Dess and aunt Ruth). Our prayers are with you. Charlton and Sara Russell

I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr Helton, but anyone who grew up in Savannah in the 60's has to remember his commercials: "Come on down and swap one time; it's healthy for ya!" Another Savannah icon is lost. My sympathy to his family.

Jerry, Hugh and family, your Dad was best known to me as a true Southern Gentleman. He always had time to chat, spend time with anyone and treated all with the greatest respect.
