Dear Family,
I remember Ms. Barbara as one who encouraged and even at times, pushed me to excel, because she knew I possessed the will to 'make it happen'! I speak for many with my memories of her as a great educator and mentor. In a few days, my mom will have left us to be with our Heavenly Father 31 years ago. I empathasize with your pain and sorrow and can only pray that God will give you comfort and peace.
Your mom's legacy of goodness and learning will continue as we (her students) influence others along our pathway. Much Love,

As all of you know you are very close to me and we love you all.Mr. Phil and Ms. Barbara were both very special people and played a very important role in my life. I cared for both of them very deeply. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. There is one thing that I believe will ease some of the sorrow. You can rest assured that she is not experiencing ANY PAIN or SUFFERING ANY MORE. She is in HEAVEN with her HEAVENLY FATHER and Mr. Phil. And for that comforting thought, we would never want to deprieve them of the riches and glory that that they are having right now!!!!!

Miss Elmore was the best teacher! She really cared about her students. If it wasn't for her, many of us might not have made it through high school.
Thanks so much and God be with you aways.
