All these years later and I think about my daddy every single day. Reading all of these sentimental messages really made my heart happy. My dad was loved by so many.

Nicole and I are stunned to hear about this! I saw him a couple of years ago at Kroger buying flowers and balloons on Valentines Day for his wife. He told me all about his roofing business and I was so happy to see him and how he had turned out. I've been seeing the black truck all around town with silver letters "Cowart Roofing". Nicole and I grew up with Brian H, Walter F, Ricky F, David, Kenny and Troy, and of course blue eyed Ben! He was very sweet and had so much character. Nicole and I lost our fathers very early on also. So, I can tell you that one thing we both love - is to hear stories about our dad's and what they were like as kids and teens and adults. And there are lots of stories about ole' Ben! He was always the "cool" guy out of the group! Please let them (his 2 children) know that! :) We are both so sorry for your loss for now, however you WILL be reunited!

I was deeply saddened to hear of Ben's sudden passing. I am moved to tears as I fondly remember this sweet young man. I met Ben in the summer of 1992. He was one of the sweetest, gentlest people I had ever met and he swept me off my feet. He taught me how to love and do percentages. He was a fun, passionate and humble human being. I send my condolences to his families as I know he will be greatly missed. I am so sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Alexis Terry Bouchard

My Brother Ben left way to soon. It was his time but as I say that, I am convincing myself because of the pain of him being gone. My heart is aching because he is no longer with us but at the same time joyous because now he is in the arms of our Mother and all our loved ones who has already left. Ben was such an awesome person which holds up in all titles, Son,Brother, Father, Friend. He will be missed sooo much. What makes this a little bearable for me and I am sure for others is that he is finally at peace and that he is happy. We all love you Bro! You will live on in our hearts, that's where all of our memories are, to cherish and hold tight. XOXOXOX Lots of Love, Your Sis,Stacy
P.S: Thanks for all the love and support that everyone as shown during this time. We deeply appreciate it.

My deepest sympathy to Ben's wife, children and family. He lived at our house for awhile several years ago in Georgetown, he was always a caring and respectgul young man. He had made a wonderful life for his family and it is too tragic that it ended much too soon. May God's love and peace help you through this sad time.
