Just saw this. I'm so sorry for your loss. We always enjoyed singing at the church with Heartfelt and attending revivals when Reece was preaching. I always felt a kindred spirit with Brother Bobby, he was an humble and loving man. The family is in our prayers.

Please accept the sincere condolences of myself, and my Wife Brenda. We are the Grand Children of Ralph and Betty Groover. We have many fond memories of Bobby, you and your family. At Gum Branch Baptist, having Sunday dinner at the Groover home, and even quail hunting with Bro Bobby. How I miss those precious times. So many of our Loved Ones have been called Home and now Bobby is with them. We will look forward to another great Sunday Dinner when we all get together again at The Lords Table. He was just Bobby or Brother Bobby, no put-on, no pretension, no bragger, no Mr., no Sir, just Bobby. He has always been there for our family; all it took was a phone call, anytime, anywhere. I have always felt that I could ask anything of any Brinkley; they are just good people, all influenced by Bobby. I will miss him, but I also know that he is watching over all of us until we meet once again.

Mother and I would like to offer our most humble and sincere condolences for your loss. Brother Bobby has ministered to the Worth Groover family for over 50 years. Brother Bobby was a passionate preacher and he loved the Lord. I'll never forget he and Mrs. Terry gathered and stood around my Daddy's bed and held our hands when the Good Lord called him up. Brother Bobby was exhausted and just give out from running to Dr's visits in Savannah. He selflessly gave the guidance and peace we needed during that time. His sermons were passionate, thought provoking, and filled with love.
