I miss Ed. I miss the visits we had together in my front yard. Every time he drove by my house on his way home, he lived three houses down our street from my house, he would stop if I was working in the yard or just outside, and tell me a funny story or a new joke. Sometimes it was a joke he had previously told me but I always enjoyed the enthusiasm in his voice and the absolute delight in his love of life and his desire to make my day better by letting me know that he respected me and was happy to see me. I miss him every day when I walk by his house and think about the times when I would go see him in his office to ask his advice on matters that he was more schooled upon. I only wish that I had more of those opportunities now.
Rest in Peace Cuz.

I never knew you, Ed. But today I read your obituary and the post from your brother and the absolute love and adoration shined through so strongly. So in your memory I thank God for people like you... that make the world a better place just by existing.
