We missed our chance to meet Chris, but we had the pleasure of working with him during the last year of his life. He was an innovative, fun-loving man with many jokes that kept us in stitches. We will miss him and we wish we would have had the pleasure of meeting him in person. Our deepest condolences to his family, we wish you strength and courage in this new day.

My most humble condolences to the Clark family. I lived with Chris and Marty in the basement of the Clark's home one summer, until we got our own condo. They were the finest people. Gilda cooked for us and I was part of their family. I will never forget and I will always thank God for the love they gave a total stranger.

Its funny how as you grow up you remember things from your childhood and how they stay with you for the rest of your life. I think the year was 72-73 and I was the bothersome neighborhood kid who always seemed to drive his bike by when Chris and Marty were out washing their Vettes. Marty with his White Stingray and Chris with his Green 61 "Jade Rat". I always got to help wash the cars followed by a trip to Lower Beaver DX for gas and down Lower Beaver Road for a fast, fast ride around the North West side of Des Moines and maybe a stop at the Dairy Queen.I am now 54 and have never forgotten those rides and how nice they both were to a stupid kid on a bike.I am very sorry to hear of the passing of both Chris and Marty.

Chris was one of the few people in this world I could count on, he was there in good times and bad for me.
Time spent with Chris and his wife Wendy meant a great deal to me and he will be greatly missed.

I was a childhood neighbor of Chris Clark. He and his brother Marty once built a snow fort with my brothers. We all went sledding. I had a Raggedy Ann doll and he had a model train set. We were in VBS together. We graduated in the same class at Hoover, Chris had a nice smile. God loves us. Carol Pugsley

Godspeed Chris Clark. You certainly made an impact on Savannah. We enjoyed some great times, flying, scuba diving, spearfishing, motorcycle riding and hunting together. I am saddened that this chapter is closed.

Memories - remembering our competitive times growing up, dirt bike riding and snow skiing in our younger years. Good times! Motorcycling to Colorado with you and other close friends in the 70's are all good memories. In 1986 we all went snow skiing to Lake Tahoe - more wonderful memories. Sounds like you really enjoyed a lot of more experiences since then! You lived life to the fullest. Our sympathy to your family & friends!

I know that Chris will be missed by all who have known him. He was truly a "people person". I'm so sorry that the weather conditions will not allow us to be with you in person as you send Chris to his new Home. You'll remain in our prayers as you face the future without him.
