Dorothy Rimes Obituary

Dorothy Pfeifer Rimes - SAVANNAH - Dorothy Pfeifer Rimes, 91, went home to be with the Lord October 2, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a native of Oklahoma and longtime resident of Savannah. She was a member of Bull Street Baptist Church, and served on the library committee for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Hugh M. Rimes. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Hugh M. Rimes, Jr. and Angela Rimes of Pembroke; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Billy Mills of Texas and Sarah and Greg Rogers of Colorado; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Visitation: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 5, 2012 in the Hodgson Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, conducted by Reverend Earnie Pirkle. Burial will be private.
