Fred Conley Obituary
Savannah
Fred Donald Conley, 78, of Savannah, Georgia, died Thursday afternoon, November 28, 2019, at Candler Hospital.
Born in Statesboro, Georgia, he was a son of the late Howard Benjamin Conley and the late Rossie Lee Burris Conley. Fred was of the Baptist faith. He loved his four dogs and traveling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Louise Thompson, and a brother, Ralph Jerome Conley.
Survivors include his brother, Howard B. Conley, Jr.; his caregiver, Freddie Cone, and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Tuesday evening at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 12 noon Wednesday at the graveside, Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Pastor Ronald J. Yeakle.

My condolences to the family. Fred will be miss. I have worked with Fred overnight at walmart for 4 year's. He was always full of laughter and jokes. Never a dull moment with him around. When I started there I didn't have a car, he will always give me a ride home since we live close by of each other.When we had potluck he brought his famous meatballs. And when I got my car, he will tell me to come over and get some of those lemons and grapefruit from his tree. What a giver. He will be miss.
