February 21, 2012

My condolences go to his family and relatives. I had pleasure working with George twice, once in Afghanistan in 2006/2007 and the second time in Iraq in 2011 when I saw him for the last time.
He was a great man, truly friend and one of the best people I had pleasure to work with. Always ready to help, give a good word and full with positive energy. He will always live in my memories as a magician who could build everything with his hands.
George, it was honor for me to work with you and I will always miss you as a colleague and a great friend.

Rest in piece with the angels...

Your friend,
Vladimir Kiprijanovski,

My prayers and condolences go to his family.
I had the pleaseure of working with George in Afghanistan in 2005. Way too many good things he did to mention, but the one that sticks in my mind is him teaching English to his Afghani carpenter crew. He did this on his own, during lunch, every day for a long time.
Truly a caring soul who looked to make things better.
Countless lives he's touched, and will truly be missed.

Candis and family,
I was sad to hear of Mr. George passing away. Mr. George might be gone from this Earth, but not from your heart and thoughts. God said that He would not put more on us than we could take and trust and believe in God and He will see you through all of this. Love you all. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Liz and family,
It saddens my heart that you have lost George, but I know he is in a better place, watching over all of you. I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Here is a poem that I think you will enjoy and hopefully it will help in the coming days

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
... They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it's the memories of you that are the most precious.
