Gertrude Conklin Obituary
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Robert E. Conklin, her daughters and their husbands Joanne M. and Robert H. Blake and Robin E. and Gregory L. Olson, and her son Robert W. Conklin and his wife Cecilia Neumann, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Trudy was devoted to her many charities, was an avid animal lover, including caring for the many animals who would show up on her doorstep, and a superb cook and gardener. But most of all, she was devoted to her family and her faith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church, 8412 Whitefield Ave, Savannah, GA on Saturday, November 17th, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. Calling hours for family and friends will be held at St. James Catholic Church on Friday, November 16th, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Burial will be privately held at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery in East Hampton, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Trudy's name to North Shore Animal League.

Our deepest sympathies at the loss of your loved one. I only knew her from Azealaland but she was a sweet lady. So sad to see her go.
