To Daniel, Sisters and Brothers,

What a wonderful man to have had in your lives... so few people have been blessed to have been loved by a man such as your father. His love to his children and to all who knew him proved to be unconditional, always putting the wants and needs of his family first. It was evident to all who knew Reverend Harris that you all were his life.

My family and I feel so very priviledged to have been counted among Reverend Herbert's family of friends. Though our hearts ache at his passing, we know that our pain doesn't compare to your broken hearts today.

I often remember hearing my mother say, "Lord, I love to hear Herbert pray that's when all the angels in Heaven stand still." After hearing him pray at her funeral, I suddenly knew what she meant.

I, too join you in your sorrow and I pray that you take comfort in knowing that with time and with the strength and comfort that only God, the father of peace can give, you will make it through the days ahead.

With sincere love for you all!

My dear cousins, my heart is with you at this time of loss of your precious husband, father, uncle and cousin.

We can never forget his words of "Love to and for each other" plus "Peace".

St. Paul may have written to the people, but Cousin Herbert verbally reminded us of his words.

With tears in my eyes and a happy heart for having Cousin Herbert a part of my life too, I am still Blessed. "Cuzzo".
