Mrs. Richardson was one of my math teachers in high school. I would not have learned any math in high school if it weren't for her. It wasn't my best subject. Even so, she was kind and compassionate with very clear expectations for her students. You just knew she cared about you. I am certain that there are many other students whose lives she impacted in significant ways. I've always remembered her and am still grateful these many years later. I want to extend my condolences to the Richardson family.

To the Richardson Family. I am so sorry for your loss. I first met Ivy when I first graduated from college and was sub teaching at Myers. Then we started going to the same hair salon. Ms. Ruby. I loved her because she was very persistent. I will never forget what she told me that is still with me today. She said to get every degree that you can because if something happens you will have something else to fall back on. Love you Ivy. You fought a great fight. Now you have gone to get your angel wings.. And may he give you all the strength and peace to know that she is in heaven. To be absent from the body means that you are present with the Lord. So sleep on friend.

To God Be The Glory, another one of God's angels has gone home. Ivy was a co-worker first, friend to me later and a person one could always count on in times of need. Ivy was always willing to volunteer "first". I, too, will miss her dearly. It is my prayer that you find comfort in HIM, who knows best.

Mrs. Richardson was my Geometry instructor as Sol C Johnson High School. She was amazing. Math was always trouble for me, but she patiently explained it. I passed her class. I'm utterly heart-broken at her passing. I pray her family will find peace and comfort knowing the she lives now in the House of her Lord and Saviour.
