James "Bobby" Harris Wrenn
Savannah, Georgia
James "Bobby" Harris Wrenn, 79, of Savannah passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. A native of Tattnall County, he was the son of the late Howard and Ruby Wrenn. Bobby lived most of his life in Savannah and was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. He worked at the Chatham and Effingham County Health Departments until his retirement. However, most days he could be found at Hollow Oak Campground and Landfill, or "God's Country" as he called it, which he founded and owned for over 30 years. Bobby loved his family including his wife of 58 years, Kathleen P. Wrenn, and his daughters, Phyllis "Missy" Sackariasen (Kurt) and Pattie Barnes (Ronald). Granddad Bobby loved his grandchildren Mallory and Caleb Barnes. Bobby had two sisters, the late Betty Brown (Stanley), DiAnne Amerson (Roger) and his brother, Dana Wrenn. He had several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. A visitation will be held Friday May 7, 2021 from 6-8PM at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive. A memorial service will be held Saturday May 8, 2021 at 1pm at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church 7020 Concord Road Savannah, GA 31410 with Father Patrick O'Brien officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children at lovetotherescue.org or by mail at Shriners Hospitals for Children Attn: Office of Development 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607. Bobby will be remembered for his infectious smile, for his ability to make others laugh and his love of life. Until we meet again, "Let's Just See".

My deepest sympathy to the Wrenn family. I had the honor of working with his wife Kathy at C&S Bank for many years. The Wrenn's were dedicated hard working family loving people. Rest in peace and may you find comfort in knowing your loved one is with our "Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!"

Pattie and family: I am so sorry for your loss. Big hugs to you and your family during this difficult time. Your Dad was always very kind and attentive when we visited in their home throughout the years. I know that you have many fond memories and I pray you will find comfort in those memories. God bless you all.
