Dear Poo Bear,

I will miss you dearly. I consider you to be the son that I never had. You use to come and cut my grass for me every summer and every time my dogs jump the fence you would catch them for me. You even went out of your way to walk Tamadrionna and Tyria home from the store when they were out late, because you said "That you wanted to make sure that they got home safe." I'm sorry that when it was me turn to look out for you, I was not there. I miss you so much Poo Bear, and I will never forget you.

LOVE YOU

To the family of Jeriel, I am truly sorry for your lost. I did not know Jeriel, but it hurt just the same. The Lord wanted him home and we know that he makes no mistakes. I know that there is nothing that I can say to ease your heart right now, but may the thought of someday rejoicing with "Pooh Bear" bring you comfort. The Lord will supply your every need, and the family will be in my prayers.

I knew Poo Bear very well. And from the times we talked and played together, because he used to come out in Tatumville, he seemed fun, and full of adventures! But i'm not gone to lie he was a hand-full and very wild. But you just couldn't help but to love him. Oh and his voice was so cute! It wasn't soft and it wasn't to deep! Sorry you gone.......RIP Jeriel ( I mean Poo Bear!)

I did not know Jeriel, but my heart goes out to his family. I was reading the obituraries looking for a church member obiturary and saw his picture. I can only imagine what his family is going through, but just remember the Lord knows best. Jeriel is in a better place where he will not worry about anything every again.

Jasmine Shoemaker

December 17, 2003

I didn't personally know Jeriel like some might have but I did run in to him a couple of times on fairmont street because i have a friend who lives down the street. But from those few encounters i saw an energy or spunk about him that was prevalent in his actions and words. And although he is no longer here to grace us with his prescence we must not dwell on his passing but celebrate his life. RIP little man!!! you were far too young!!
