To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted. Ecc: 3: 1-2

To the Yocco family, My thoughts and prayers are with the family during your time of grief. Your mother always inspired me with her compassion for teaching and working with kids with special needs. She always taught them to believe they could do anything. I was always made to feel part of this wonderful family many many years ago. May God give you peace in knowing that she is In heaven smiling and feeling more joy and peace than she had ever known
With deepest sympathies , Donna Mitchell (Wooster)

Mrs. Kathryn was a wonderful person that I knew when teaching at Charles Hefty Elem, and is someone I've thought about and was influenced by many years afterward. It was a surprise to be able to find out about her through Selena at S. Effingham and Guyton Elementary. She will be missed by many, but leaves a legacy of untold influence on countless numbers of people. Rest in peace, Mrs. Kathryn.

Words cannot describe how much Ms. Yocco means to me. I was part of her first inclusion class that consisted of myself, my sister (who has 10% down syndrome) and several other very sick children. Ms Yocco believed in all of us and taught us never look upon anyone disabilities. She had grace about teaching that everyone in the class was able to learn. Loved this woman so much. My family and Ms Yocco stayed in contact throughout the years. When my grandmother died, Ms Yocco was right there to comfort and take care of my sister as she did so many years ago. To the who Yocco family my deepest sympathies and prayers are with you and know that Ms. Yocco is healed as only Jesus could do.

Kathryn was one of the first people I met in Savannah when I was teaching at Charles Herty school. For a girl from Boston, she was the epitome of a sweet southern woman. Although I have not been teaching in Savannah since 1990, I have fond memories of her.
My deepest condolences
