Thomas and I were classmates and friends throughout all of public school. Mrs. Beale was a constant provider of care and affection throughout - - very much like a second mother to me. She graced the 59th Street home and all of us who visited. We are much the more blessed for having know her and will miss her deeply. Blessings and Godspeed.
