Dear Ulverleen & Randy, We are so sorry to hear about Marcy's passing. We know it has been a long journey and that he suffered long. Feel comfort in knowing that he is in a better place. I did not learn of his death until the morning of the funeral when Daddy called to say he was going ... we would have paid our respects more appropriately. Know that you'all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Marcy will never die, but live in the hearts of his family and love ones left behind. I worked with Marcy for almost 25 years at Union Camp, and we rode together to work for many years. Like a beautiful flower I remember the happy days, when he starting playing with a band called the haymakers, it was mostly mill co-workers. I was working with Marcy when Randy was first born, and he would just brag about his son, said he was the most beautful son in the whole wide world, and we followed his growth, as Marcy said his son could jump faster than any son could. What precious memories of a true friend, who started at the bottom of the papermill, and worked himself to the very top, becoming a tour foreman. Can't wait to see him in those Green,Green grass of Heaven.
