Mrs. Margaret W. Jones, 88, died May 3, 2021, surrounded by her loving children. She was born on Bonaventure Road, Thunderbolt, GA, March 27, 1933.
Her husband, Julius J. Jones, Jr., their oldest son Gary W. Jones, and three sons' in-law; Charles Mitchell; Timothy Norris; and Anthony Wolfolk, preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons: Claude J. Jones; Marvin L. Jones; five daughters: Cheryl J. Douse; Martha J. Mitchell; Yolanda J. Wolfolk; Carolyn J. Chisholm (Wesley); and Denise N. Mallory, (Arthur); 14-grandchildren, 24-great grands, and 3-great-great grands;
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021, at 12:00 pm, 2520 Bonaventure Funeral Home. DUE TO PANDEMIC, the service will be held in the Chapel with only children, grands and great-grands in attendance. The service will be on Bonaventure Funeral Home|Facebook.
Extended family and friends are welcome to attend the public graveside service starting at 1:30 pm with the procession to Forest Lawn Cemetery, Bonaventure Road. Please practice social distancing and wearing face masks is mandatory.
Public viewings in Chapel: Friday, May 14, 2021, 3-6 pm and Saturday, May 15, 2021, 9-11 am.
