Marianne Elizabeth Rowe Crone - TYBEE ISLAND - Marianne Elizabeth Rowe Crone, 76, died Sunday, October 25, 2015. She was born February 11, 1939 in Savannah to the late Harry and Anne Tranburgh Rowe. Marianne was a resident of Tybee Island for the past 44 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Edward Crone, her daughter, Brenda Crone, and her son, Robbie Crone. Surviving are her three daughters, Melinda Crone, of Savannah, Mamie Crone, of Waldorf, MD, and Carol Coffren, of Leonardtown, MD, her son, Ralph E. Crone, Jr., and her sister, Georgia Sivils, of Savannah. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Desmond Crone, Morgan Coffren Elmer, Trey Crone, Riley Crone, two great-grandchildren, Chloe Crone, and Cash Crone, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel. Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ralph Crone, Desmond Crone, William Griffith, Matthew Randolph, George Spriggs, and Fred Blackmar. Following the graveside service, there will be a celebration of her life from 3:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m., at the North Beach Grill at Tybee Island.
