Melchor DeLaCerna Obituary

Melchor DeLaCerna, M.D. - Hinesville - Melchor DeLaCerna, M.D., 72, died at St. Joseph's Hospital Sunday, November 18, 2007. He was a native of the Philippines and lived in Hinesville the past 15 years. He retired from the U.S. Army after 25 years of service as a Colonel. He was employed in civil service as a physician in the Pediatrics Clinic at Winn Army Community Hospital. He was a member of Saint Philip's Episcopal Church. He is survived by his wife, Aeran DeLaCerna of Hinesville; daughter, Taeree Lee of Hinesville; two sons, Joonho Lee of Charlotte, NC and Larry DeLaCerna of Utah; three brothers and two sisters of the Philippines also survive. A Funeral Mass will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Saint Philip's Episcopal Church with The Rev. Willard S. Carter officiating. Committal of Ashes at Saint Philip's Memorial Garden will be at a later date.
