My prayers and deepest sympathy.
I have been at Sikorsky for 35 years. the first 15 years were on second shift, which is how I met Dwayne. After I went to days I would always see him in the shift change or if I was working OT. He was always one of the nicest people in Sikorsky, or for anywhere else for that matter. I was at Americade and actually heard about his accident when we were leaving, and then heard about his passing the last day I was up there. I came home yesterday and even kept my helmet on after I hit the CT border. My buddy pulled over to ask if I wanted to get rid of the helmet and I told him I was thinking about "DUDE" and I think I will leave it on!
So, this is very hard to accept why the good people seem to be the ones who always leave us early. My heart goes out to you and your family. He will be missed greatly by you and all the poeple that knew him well.
That tow motor will just not be the same without the DUDE driving it. We all lost something with Dwayne gone,very sad, but hopefully he is riding in a better place and looking over and protecting you and your family forever.

To Nancy & Family, Minna & Eric,
Although I was never honored to meet Dwayne I feel like I knew him a bit through Facebook. I followed Minna and checked her posts everyday with hope to see how Dwayne was doing after the accident. Always sending a few prayers.
My wife has been a lifelong biker and when I told her about the accident she asked me every day how he was. We were both saddened to hear he passed.
The next few days will be extremely hard for everyone and I wish you all the love and strength in the world to get through this. We'll be thinking about you.

Nancy I know you hurt , DWayne it feels like I lost a brother , he been with us sense he was a kid basically. So yea brother inlaw but brother. Oh I am searching so hard for the Sturgis pictures he was so excited , n gave him a Mohawk. We had great time. Tried talk him into moving there. He will always be with u, we all have a another angel watching over us.

All of our hearts are with you Nancy and family as you prepare to say good bye to one of greatest guys the world has known. Sikorsky 2nd shift just isn't and never will be the same without our Dude. Nancy & Family, sorry for your loss, I was a friend and coworker for many years. I gave Dude the painting of an Indian standing next to his horse. I ran into Him last Friday on the job and He again expressed his gratitude for the painting. I saw the love in his eyes for his heritage, his family and his friends, when we spoke about the painting. Nancy and Family are hearts cry with yours with this devastating loss. We met Dude last year at the East Coast MC Rally and from the moment we met there was a bond.
