Nellie Faye Carter Conner - BAXLEY - Nellie Faye Carter Conner, age 84, of Baxley, GA died Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Mrs. Conner was born July 24, 1931 in Appling County to the late Ottamus Carter and the late Ocilla Sikes Carter. She was a member of Dunn Memorial Baptist Church and retired as a book keeper from SunTrust Bank. Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Conner, three sons, Ronnie Carter, Roy Conner, Ricky Conner and a grandson, Stacy Carter. Mrs. Conner is survived by a son and daughter in law, Ray and Merlene Carter of Baxley; sister, Rita Jane Lipthratt of Baxley; brother and sister in law, Burton and Daisy Carter of Waycross; daughter in law, Sherri Carter of Baxley; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Dunn Memorial Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 3:00 PM from Dunn Memorial Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
