Norman Johnson Obituary

Darien, IL - Norman R. "Rick" Johnson, 52, died Saturday, March 15, 2003 at Good Summaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Illinois. A native of Savannah, he has resided in Darien, IL for 10 years. He served as a Deacon at Alpha Baptist Church and was a district representative for Primerica in Calumet City, IL. He was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn Soloman Johnson. Survivors: his devoted wife Edviena L. Johnson; daughters, Allison Alana Johnson of Atlanta and Lauren Ashley Johnson of Darien; sons, Christopher Todd (Sonia) Johnson of Ames, IA and Joshua David Johnson of Darien; sister, Patricia J. Soloman of Tucker; brother, Carl J. (Gail) Johnson of Tucker; his father, Norman R. (Sonya) Johnson of Atlanta; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives. Visitation: 7:00-8:00 p.m., at the church. Funeral Services: 8:00 p.m., at Alpha Baptist Church, 240 S. Schmidt Rd., Bolingbrook. Burial: 10:00 a.m., Thursday in Clardon Hills Cemetery.
