In honor of one of the pillars of the First Born Church, Mother Patsy Roundtree. I take comfort in calling her Mother, confidante, and most of all a loving friend. We laughed endlessly, we shared secretly, we witnessed the blessings of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She listened, she advised, she loved unconditionally. I will miss her and I hold dear memories of a wise and geniune soldier for Christ.

To the family of Mother Roundtree,
God bless each of you. We extend our sincerest condolences in the passing of Mother Roundtree, a grand lady who richly blessed and poured into our lives. What a legacy she leaves behind! A lady of many gifts and talents, a lady whose love for God and people knew no boundaries; her life was ministry in so many ways; ministry was her life. She was truly a beautifully lady inside and out. The magnitude to which she touched our lives is unutterable. She will truly be missed on this side, but a greater crown and a greater glory awaits her. Although you may find yourselves saddened by her departure, take joy in knowing that her walk with the Lord was steadfast and unmovable; She now reigns with Him, for the scripture reminds us that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Allow the Holy Spirit to be your comforter in this time of grief. Lift up your heads oh ye gates, and be ye lifted up. Smile through the tears and continue in the life and legacy that Mother Roundtree departed into each of you knowing that her love for you (and those who were blessed to have known her) knew no boundaries. Take the love that she poured into each of your lives and share it with others, and remember that this too shall pass. We pray that God will be the strength you need for the journey ahead. Peace, comfort, rest, and joy abound with you all now and forever.
