Pearl Allmond Obituary

Hawkins - Pearl Stephens Allmond, 85, peacefully passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2005 in Hawkinsville, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.M. Allmond. She is survived by a son, Ralph E. Fortner (Margaret) of Terrell, TX; a daughter, Faye F. Gay (Gene) of Hawkinsville, GA; five grandchildren, Lynn Carr and Stephanie Bailey of Hawkinsville, GA, Shawn Fortner, Joy Fortner and Sherrie Bridges of Terrell, TX and eleven great -grandchildren and beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will family and friends will be on Thursday, October 6, 2005 from 7-9 p.m., at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at Swainsboro Primitive Baptist Church on Friday, October 7, 2005 at 11 a.m., with The Elder Tommy Rountree and Elder Gary Johnson officiating. The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers: Chris Bailey, Alfred Carr, Dustin Folds, Shawn Fortner, Jack Perry and Keith Allmond. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her beloved church, Swainsboro Primitive Baptist, 242 West Main Street, Swainsboro, GA. 30401 or to The United Hospice, 708 E. 16th Ave., Cordele, GA. 31015. Ms. Faye, Lynn and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Allmond's passing. Just know that she is in a wonderful place now and has rejoined Mr. Allmond. Take care of yourselves. I am always here if you need me. God bless each of you. With love, Julie
