Stanley Meeks Obituary

Stanley William Meeks, 40, of Pooler died Tuesday, January 17, 2006. Mr. Meeks was born in Bibb County and was employed with Savannah Station. He was preceded in death by a sister, Cassandra Meeks and was a member of Garden City United Methodist Church. Survivors include his parents, Richard and Jackie Meeks, Pooler; brother and sister -in-law, Ricky and Vicki Meeks, Guyton; a niece, Olivia Meeks; two nephews, Ben Meeks and Nolan Meeks all of Guyton. A private family visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday night. Services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2006 in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home, Soperton with The Rev. Dan Pegram officiating. Burial: Poplar Springs Cemetery, near Adrian. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Garden City United Methodist Church Building Fund, 62 Varnedoe Ave., Garden City, GA. 31408.
