Mom,

You always loved me as your own son, and when my mom died you filled her shoe in my life. Now that your gone in body, i feel lost, like a ship at sea. But I know you are watching over me in spirt and in love. I will miss your friendship most of all, I could always count on you to give me good advice. We had so much fun talking about cooking, and it makes me sad to think of making Christmas supper without you. Thank you for the wonderful woman that you and Pop gave to me in Merilee. She is a wonderful wife and mother, and when I look at her, I will see you too. Love you

Merilee-

I can not find the words to express the fullness in my own heart over your loss.... Mothers are special, sacred, and can not be replaced. Yet, in time, as the shock and initial sorrow passes, I have found that our mothers are always with us. They are part of us, to be found in our hearts and souls, and even in the faces and laughter of those we love.

You have not seen much of me in the past few days, but I want you to know that you, Steven, and all of your family are in my constant thoughts and prayers.

I will continue to be a few doors down the hall, or a phone call away if you ever need someone to listen or pray with.

"May God hold you, and keep you in the palm of His hand."

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Susan was a wonderful, caring, and loving lady. She will truely be missed. You are all in our prayers.
