Tammy Blocker

April 22, 2006

I am Thomas Ray Blocker's mother, Tammy. I called him Ray, I miss my baby so, so much. I have such a dread of the future without him. I am finding it very hard to understand this plan of God's. They say God makes no mistakes but I'm finding it hard to accept that, anyone that knew Ray knew he was a very, very goooood person. I can't stress how good he was. He was my "Ray" of sunshine. My life seems a little dim without him. Please pray for my family and I, his Nanny is lost without him. He had lived right down the road from my house with his Nanny for the last 6 years. She has been really sick and I don't think I realized how much work he did for me where she is concerned. I want to thank all of you for everything that has been done. May God Bless each and everyone of you. Please keep Ray"s memory alive with a life well lived. Do and be good to yourself, that's what Ray would have wanted. And last but surely not least to everyone from Wal-mart thank you for making the last 5 years of Ray's life enjoyable, he loved his job so much. He would leave so early for work so he could conversate with his co-workers or like Ray said "What if somebody broke down? I want to be able to help and still get to work on time." That was my baby!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I know exactly what yall are going through, I have been there. Jerome Porter was my fiance and it was and still is hard to believe that it happened. This is the hardest thing that anybody could ever go through. I know there is nothing that I can do or say, but I just wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with yall.

I've known Ray for a lil over 4 years. I must say..he was sure able to make someone laugh about anything. Him and I and Bubba K. did a good bit together. I was with him this new years and a couple times in January and we had an awesome time. I couldn't believe it when I heard what had happened, I think it took a minute to really strike me. I'm really sorry to hear this and would like to send my thoughts to the family. He was a great friend and will be truely missed.

I met Ray through some friends of mine about 2 years ago. Me and Ray use to watch wrestling on Monday nights at his Grandma's house. On the weekends we would ride in his red mustang. I am surely going to miss Ray as sure as all of his family and other friends.
