Dear Kathy, Kathryn and Margaret,
I didn't learn of Tom's death until tonight. Tom and I were pledge brothers at UGA. I can close my eyes and in my mind's eye, see Tom in his saddle oxfords without socks, hands in his pockets. The decades past before we saw one another again; Tom mediated a case for me before I retired. I am saddened by your loss; all of you are in my heart, mind and prayers.

Kathy, I did learn about Tom's death until this afternoon. I am so sorry for your loss. He and I go back to being roomates at Darlington School and my visiting at his home on summer breaks. I was quite fond of Miss Hattie and Mr. Frank as well. Indeed, I feel as though a family member has passed on. May the Lord provide a comfort and peace for you and your dear daughters. Louis Harris

kathy, tom and i were best friends growing up in atlanta and shared many moments of fun and laughter. i will always remember his laugh and easygoing nature. i was always jealous of his ability to make and keep so many friends. he was so sincere in his willingness to just listen and be a friend. you were both fortunate to have each other.i truly miss him. my thoughts are with you and your family at this time. mark lovell

Kathy, I did not hear about Tom in time to come down for his memorial. I am so sorry, and my thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls. Tom was too young, and you are too young to be a widow. My heart hurts for you. If there is anything that I can do, please do not hesitate to let me know. I love you, Beverly
