David John Gourley, age 34, formerly of Hayward, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 at North Florida Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. He was born on December 21, 1989 in Dubuque, IA, the son of Philip and Nena (Droessler) Gourley.
David owned and operated Geez Ink in Hayward. He was a talented and innovative tattoo artist who took great pride in his work. He had a real passion for his motorcycle and the adrenaline and freedom he found in riding. David enjoyed growing up in the Northwoods and loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was a loving father and appreciated every minute he was able to spend with his children.
He is survived by his mother, Nena Gourley of Hayward, WI; his children, Jayden and his mother, Stephanie Wykel of Newport Richie, FL, and Aliviah, Amoniee, and Aleaha and their mother, Andrea Manzanares of Hayward, WI; his sister, Daniele Hopper of Hayward, WI; his nieces and nephew, Mila, Peyton, Ella and Eddie Hopper; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Philip Gourley; and his grandfathers, David Droessler, Rick Kramer, and Donald Gourley.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 10586 Dakota Avenue, in Hayward where visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of Mass. Interment will be held privately.
