Dear Sandy & Garza Family:

I know this message comes somewhat late, but just today I learned of Tino's passing. I was going over some old records and came across what I believed to be a hotel receipt from our attendance (with my father, Herman "Buzz" Adams) at Tino's 75th birthday party thrown by Sandy. That was a fun time. The receipt got me looking and I found the obituary.

We extend our condolences for your loss and hope all are well. Tino was a fine man and we will remember him proudly.

With all our love,

Sharon Caldwell

Uncle Tino was a giant in my eyes. If ever I had had a doubt, I was blessed with his sisters, Frances Trevino and Angela Abrego, who celebrated his life and legacy with every success. They were so proud of their "little brother." As gracious a soul as he was, he had a talent for gently correcting any incivility on your part. His humor and humility are models for all. Much love to Aunt Sandy and the family.

It was an honor to know him. He definitely was the "quintessential gentleman". He was a tough guy without ever having to remind you that he was.

Tino was a legend among legends. He was on the opposing side and I could trust his word. He was the perfect example of professionalism and advocacy. I wish all attorneys could take lessons from him. Tom and John were lucky to have worked side by side with him. What a true honor. Good bye my friend.
