My dear wonderful, beautiful and precious sister, Gwen, is "at rest".
I miss you all ready. You have been my example for things good. I am forever grateful for your example of kindness and for loving.
We will be together again,
someday when all is made new again. I love you my dearest sister!

Mom's ashes were buried today at Montecito Memorial Park,Loma Linda, CA. She's got a front row spot in the highest spot at the park - ready for Resurrection Morning! A lovely service with Dr. Fred Kaschiski from admin at school of Dentistry officiating, and Dan Matthews did the Life Sketch. Mom would've loved it.

To My Sister

Gwen has always been my hero. In my earliest memories she was always there when I needed her.
Gwen was always her own person, and an unusually perceptive thinker. Her heart was big enough for us all.
Throughout life I have been blessed to listen to her good advice on many levels.
I have far to many fond memories to mention here, but the one that I will never forget, or underestimate, is her influence on my life. She saved my life in more ways than one. Her wisdom, self-giving love, and vision of the future were what got me through many difficult times, and has been a constant inspiration. I’m not sure that she ever fully understood the magnitude of her gift to me.
Gwen, my sister, I love you so very much! If I ever grow up I want to be like you. You have now gone on before us. How are we going to face the future without you? It won’t be the same, that’s for sure. But, we’ll do it in and for your memory!
Good night, my sister!

What a woman! My mother, my best friend, my mentor and inspiration! We look forward to the Resurrection Morn!
In the meantime, we will remember the lessons Mom taught, of unconditional love. She corrected with love, never scolded. We will call Dad and each other when we want to call her, and remember that she led with the living example shown by her positive actions (while never having to say the words) which is to: "Take care of whatever problem is current and move on, Give it to God, and NO WHINING!" Love you! Judi
