I know it has been sometime, and no one may ever read this. However, I was reminded of Dr. Mace today. He was always happy, he always laughed and had a smile on his face. What I remember most about Dr. Mace were his cowboy boots! I would not be were I am at in life now if it was not for him. He inspired me to peruse a career in medicine. May he rest in peace.

I was just thinking about him the other day. I wanted to see if he was still around and ended up finding this. He quite literally changed my life when I was a kid. The best doctor I´ve ever had. I remember he comforted me so much. I always loved seeing what character was gonna be on his tie when I went in. I am so sorry for his loss, he left a huge mark on so many people.

I just heard of the news and was deeply saddened to hear that you had gone home to be with our Lord. You were an amazing person that always made us feel like we were in safe hands. Thank you for your service and caring for my son Issac for 15 years and for sharing words of wisdom with me and just having such compassion when times would get difficult. No MD has ever made an impact the way you did in our lives. I remember our last visit you asked me " Do you know Jesus?" I said " yes I do" and you said " good then I´ll see there, right?" I said " yes you will". See you later Dr Mace you will truly be missed until we meet again.

Sincerely,
Issac & Geliseth

Dr. Mace´s soothing smile, kindness and humble approach to patient care gave me the confidence in conquering my medical situation.
