Judith (Judy) Haas (Schlangen) July 1,1947 - June 22, 2021 Judith (Judy) Ann Haas (Schlangen), age 73, passed away June 22, 2021, after a courageous three-year battle with lung cancer. Judy was born July 1, 1947, in San Bernardino, California to Oscar and Betty Schlangen. Judy married Michael Haas in 1995, who preceded her in death in 2007. Judy spent her life working in education. After a short stint teaching middle school English and several years teaching preschool at Westminster Presbyterian, she became a teacher in Westminster School District. For over 20 years, Judy was at Anderson Elementary teaching classes from second to sixth grade before retiring in 2010. . Judy was a loving and devoted mother, and the only thing she loved more than her children was her grandchildren. She really cherished her role as Grandma Judy. Judy is survived by her mother, Betty Jean Schlangen, her sister and husband, Jill and Glennon Huber, brother and wife, Steven and Maria Schlangen, sister, Robyn Asherbranner; son and wife, Christopher and Brenda Roussel, son and fianc‚, Daniel Roussel and Tracey Zoleta, daughter and husband, Melissa and Nicholas Bonacci; grandchildren, Madison Hall, Treiton Maybee, Jackson Roussel, Kasen Roussel, Sophia Perez, Hudson and Lola Bonacci; and several nieces, and nephews. There will be a viewing for family and friends, July 17 from 1PM 4PM at Forest Lawn-Cypress, followed by a Gravesite Service on July 19 at 2:30 PM at Forest Lawn-Cypress.
