Judy Kinder May

1936 - 2023

Judy Kinder May entered the gates of Heaven on June 26, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. Judy was born on June 1, 1936, in Hollywood, Ca to her parents Kathryn and Fred Gremel. She graduated from San Bernardino High School and then went onto work at Pacific Bell Telephone Company where she met her first husband Lester Kinder (who predeceased her), and they were married on April 27, 1957. Judy also worked for over 30 years in the medical field where she worked with many wonderful doctors and was a friend to many people who were undergoing various medical treatments. Judy leaves behind brother Fred Gremel (Marcia); sister Diane Graham; her son David (Meg); daughter Pam (Todd); son Mark (Lori); and grandchildren, Justin (Danielle), Jordan, Jerrad, Christopher, Shawn, Austin, Angel, Ally, Riley, and Riley. Mom was also blessed with great grandsons Bennett and Christopher. Judy was also able to rekindle a friendship and later fell in love with Robert May who she had known since junior high. Judy and Bob were married on September 26, 2003. She took immense pride in her children and grandchildren and enjoyed watching them grow, mature and flourish. She was extra happy with her great grandson's arrival in 2021, which brought much happiness and a sparkle to her eyes. Judy loved her church and was an active member and had many friendships that she had cultivated over the years. Judy's strong spirit and kind heart are what drew people to her. She enjoyed many summer trips to Montana with her husband Bob and his family and would look forward to those trips. Judy lived a fulfilling and abundant life that was filled with laughter, fun and love. May she find peace in the embrace of the Lord and the loved ones who have gone before her. Rest in peace, Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma. We miss you dearly but know that someday we will be together again. The Celebration of Life is Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 28355 Baseline Street, Highland, CA at 11:00am.
