Kendall Edwards Obituary

Kendall Neal Edwards
Kendall Neal Edwards 81, of Rialto Ca. passed away Jan. 6, 2017 at his home with his family gathered around his side. He was born in Brady Tx. on Jan. 9, 1935. His family came to California and later settled in South Gate. He graduated from South Gate High School in 1953, where he was student body president. Neal was the Los Angeles YMCA boy of the year in 1953 and went on to attend the University of Southern California and graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in 1957. He completed his teaching credential at the University of La Verne. He taught at Valle Vista Elementary School for the Central School District in Rancho Cucamonga for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife Barbara of 58 years, his 5 children: Kenda, Kevin (Terri), Kent (Suzanne), Kurt (Stephany), and Kerri. 13 grandchildren: Jason, Natalee, Heather, Katlyn, Kraig, Kyle, Kaleb, Kristen, Kameron, Kory, Kaden, Kody, and Kadie. 6 great-grandchildren: Kailin, Konner, Khloe, Lydia, Jack and Allison. He is also survived by his brother Randall (Ellie).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 28 at 12 noon at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1375 N. Willow, Rialto CA 92376.
