Letter to My Grandma
Thank you oh so so much for sharing your life with me! Although most of our life on God's Earth was spent many miles apart, our hearts were beating together each second.
You have tought me so much about life and the true meaning and value of what a family really is & how to hold tight to them with all my might!
You passed on some very valuable traits to me: Life is life and we need to take what we are given and run with all the things we can take away from the circumstances that God presents to us and not dwell on the hardships, but dig for the lesson, learn, and use it to enhance the rest our lives and move on.
Of course, I am thinking my mixture of loving, positive, glue, discomfort of conflict, mixed with ornery personality also comes from you. Of course, being ornery is definitely not acceptable if someone's feelings are at stake. ;) Can't forget this 47 year old perm you gave me too!
Gramma, I am going to so miss you and being able to call whenever. However, I am so happy for you and know you are excited to be with Grandpa, my mom and dad, plus everyone else and enjoying your new life through God's gracious gates in heaven. I know you will be there for me as my angel when I need you.
I LOVE YOU!
