Manuel Patlan Reynosa

BELOVED FATHER MANUEL PATLAN REYNOSA 103, passed away quietly of congestive heart failure on Wednesday, 1/11/06, in San Bernardino, CA, after an extremely short illness. Born October 10, 1902, in El Paso, Texas, Manuel resided in the Redlands/Colto n area since 1904. He is survived by his loving son, Manuel Reynosa Jr. of Highland; his loving daughter, Barbara Sandoval of Redlands; his loving daughter, Margaret Chavez of Redlands; his loving daughter, Mary Jo Vega of Montebello; his loving daughter, Gloria Aguilera of Colton; and his loving son, Edward Reynosa of Redlands. Surviving brothers and sisters are Tommy Nunez of Colton, Felix Nunez of Los Angeles, Mary Chacon of San Bernardino, and Lina Madrigal of San Bernardino. Manuel was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia, his loving daughter, Virginia Saiz, and his loving daughter, Delpha Morales. In addition to his eight children, Manuel's legacy includes twenty-five grandchildren, fifty-eight great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren. Manuel recently celebrated his 103rd birthday where over tow hundred guests celebrated his centennial plus three with a festive party at his home in Loma Linda, CA. He lived independently at his home, and owned a gardening/landscaping b usiness in Redlands which he operated well into his nineties. A memorial service/viewing will be held at Emmerson's Mortuary in Redlands, CA, on Monday evening, 1/16/06 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A mass will be held at St. Joseph's The Worker in Loma Linda, CA, Tuesday morning 1/17/06 at 10:00 AM, with interment to take place immediately at Montecito Cemetery in Loma Linda, CA.
