Margaret Cinowalt Obituary

MARGARET (Peg) ECKENRODE, CINOWALT, born in Pittsburgh, Pa. on 8/7/21, died at home with family at her side on 3/14/02. Peg had lived in Fontana, California for the past 17 years. Surviving relatives are sons, Roy & Dan; daughters, Mary Ann, Sue and Pattie; grandchildren, Joy & Eric; great-grandchild, Celeste Joy; daughters-in-law, Yolanda Pacheco, Kathy & Carol Cin owalt; and sons-in-law, John Ramos and Walt Mavracic. Peg is predeceased by her spouse, Andrew and son Bill. Peg volunteered in many capacities all of her adult life, including shelters for battered women, nursing homes, a library, Veterans Hospital and as a Girl Scout Leader. Peg received AARP's Chapter 555, Volunteer of the Year Award in 1991 and was recognized in a Fontana, Ca. newspaper feature story as a volunteer hero. Peg was dearly loved by family and friends. If desired, donations can be sent to O steoporosis or Alzheimer's Foundation.

Dear Mary Ann and Family,



My deepest condolences to you all. Your Mother led a very rich life and her legacy is in you.



The hard part is realizing that now, we are the "elders".



I will pray for your Mother, and your family for strength to go on.
