Trinidad Hernandez Obituary

TRINIDAD U. HERNANDEZ age 84, of Colton, passed away at home on May 18 after a brief and merciful battle with cancer. She was surrounded by all her family and loved ones. "Trini" was born in Thurber, Texas on September 11, 1921 and was raised as a young girl in the town of Lovell, Wyoming. In 1936 her family traveled to the state of California an settled in the town of Colt on where she remained up until her death. She is survived by her 5 sisters: Margaret Ramirez of Topeka, Kansas, Frances Saenz, Monica Alba, Angela Kirby of Colton and Lucy Porta of Grand Terrace. She leaves behind one son Steven Hernandez, Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She will always be cherished for her unconditional love and her quick sense of humor. We all loved her so much and it will be difficult for all of us to be without her, but our memories will neve r fade. We love you so much "Nana", "Trini", Mom, and we will see you again. Funeral Services were handled by Colton Funeral Home on May 22 and Interment was at Hermosa Memorial Gardens. A heartfelt thank you to all who attended, and who assisted with the arrangements. The Hernandez and Alva Families.
