Alice "Chutie" Chupick, 72, of North Pine Street, Tremont, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street, Pottsville.
Born June 2, 1951, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Martha (D'Agostino) Fisher.
She was a 1969 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School.
Alice was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She also loved the beach. Her family was her world, and she loved spending time with and taking care of them.
Preceding her in death were a sister, Nancy Wolfe, and a brother, Joseph L. Fisher.
Surviving are her husband and best friend of 53 years, John Chupick Sr.; two sons, John Jr. and wife, Danielle Chupick, of Pine Grove, and Joseph and wife, Elaine Chupick, of Minersville; a daughter, Angela and husband, Robert Valent, of Grantville; six grandchildren, Kamdon, Tallin, Kaylonie, James, Trista and husband, Dwight, and Donald Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Christopher, Aden and Lukas; two sisters, Shirley and husband, Howard Mills, of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., and Patty Zerbe, of Pine Grove; a brother, James and wife, April Fisher, of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions in her memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. H.L.
