Annalisa Polusky Obituary

Annalisa Bowers Polusky, 42, of 219 W. Mahanoy Ave., Mahanoy City, passed away Sunday afternoon at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown area.
Born in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of Peter Bowers and the late Gertrude Kufrovich Bowers.
She was a 1986 graduate of Marian Catholic High School.
Surviving are two sons, Edward and James Polusky, at home; her father, Peter Bowers and his companion, Rita Karlavage, and her two sons, Chad and Terry; a brother, Jeffery Bowers and his companion, Tanya Bennett, Mahanoy City; paternal grandmother, Ilse Bowers, at home; maternal grandmother, Gertrude Kufrovich, Mahanoy City; a nephew, Chase Bowers; aunts and uncles.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday at James P. Haughney Funeral Home, Mahanoy City, with the Rev. Dr. John Reid officiating. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.

I used to work at Broad Mtn. Manor with both AnnaLisa and Trudy. We had soooo much fun and were 2 of the nicest people I could have ever met. I guess it is true that only the good die young!!!!!!!!! May her family stay strong and wait patiently for the day when you will see them again. Times are tough as it is and then to lose someone so caring and full of love makes it even harder but you will get through it because she would have wanted it no other way.

I was so sorry to hear about Annalisa passing. I have fond memories of her and her brother and her dad. I have no words of wisdom to help in your grief but I hope you know how much I loved and adored her and the family. R.I.P. Babygirl, I love you.

My heart ached when I heard today that Annalisa had passed. I have so many wonderful memories of our times together in high school. I wish we were able to reconnect and laugh a few more times. I feel grateful to have had her as a friend. ~Alice (Colorado Springs, CO)

I am devestated by the passing of Lisa. We were childhood friends and teenage sisters. Her passing left a hole in my heart. I hope you can find comfort at this difficult time. She will be sadly missed.

To the memory of my good friend AnnaLisa. We laughed & we cried together in the best & worst of times. But through it all we became stronger women & learned lifes lessons the hard way.
