Carol Ann Klinger, 62, of Hegins, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, in her home surrounded by loving members of her family.
Carol was born in Ashland, on July 13, 1959, a daughter of Sarah Williams, Ashland, and the late Elmer Williams.
She graduated from Tri-Valley High School in 1977 and graduated from Schuylkill Business Institute in Pottsville.
Carol was a very hardworking and giving individual. She worked at Lehigh Valley Hospital (formerly Good Samaritan) for more than 40 years as a front office coordinator. She was a member of Christ's United Lutheran Church of Ashland. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and enjoyed baking, sharing her treats with her immediate and extended family, especially during the holiday season. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle, attending music concerts and sporting events with her family. She was always content staying at home and spending time with her family, sharing laughs and making memories together through these special moments. She was an incredible caring, selfless and generous person. She adored her loved ones with all she had and it was absolutely felt by all. Her loved ones meant the world to her.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a great-niece, Olivia Laudenslager.
Carol is survived by her husband, Mark Klinger Sr.; her son, Mark Klinger Jr.; her daughter, Heather Klinger; her mother, Sarah Williams; four sisters, Debbie Hepler, wife of Larry Hepler, Cindy Grutza, wife of Joseph Grutza, Colleen Flail, wife of William Flail, and Chareen Yost, wife of Carl Yost. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, at Christ's United Lutheran Church, Airport Road, Ashland, with the Rev. Dana Heckman-Beil officiating. Interment will be in Citizens Cemetery, Lavelle. A time for visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, is in charge of arrangements.
