David H. Laing, 70, of South Londonderry Twp., passed away at his home Friday, June 17, 2022.
Born May 8, 1952, in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Harvey William and Erma Mae (Hile) Laing.
Retired from the Indiantown Gap mailroom after 30 years, David was a 1970 graduate of Williams Valley High School, a dedicated husband, a loving father, a wonderful friend and to many, a kind and unique person to meet. He was a faithful worshipper at Harvest Time Prayer Barn.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Sheila L. (Weaver) Laing; children, Adam Laing, Kelly Laing and Allison Laing, all at home; sister, Bonnie Raho (Mitchell), of Tower City; brother, Kevin Laing (Kim), of Dauphin; and his two corgi dogs, Snicky and Bubba.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at Conewago Church of the Brethren, 7035 Schoolhouse Road, Hershey, PA 17033, preceded by a visitation starting at 1 p.m. Private interment will be in Shenks Cemetery, Elizabethtown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Share condolences at BuseFuneralHome.com.
