David D. Twardzik, 55, of Albrightsville, passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital, Lehighton Campus.
Born in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late Christopher Twardzik Sr. and Carmella (Parise) Twardzik. He was a graduate of Shenandoah High School, Class of 1984, where he played basketball. David worked in construction for his whole life. He was of the Catholic faith. David was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and NASCAR fan.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Mark; niece, Carissa Waiksnoris; nephew, Justin Berger; and great-nieces, Molly and Stella Beecroft.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Babinetz; sons, Rocco, at home, and Kody and his fiancee, Steph, of Va.; sisters, Lee Mataka and Tina Swope, both of Shenandoah; brothers, Joseph Twardzik and his wife, Meredith, of Hershey, and Christopher Twardzik Jr. and his wife, JoAnn, of Ringtown; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, April 30, at the Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 108 W. Cherry, St., Shenandoah. Interment at St. Casmir Cemetery, Shenandoah. All attending the services are required to wear masks and follow all CDC regulations. Online condolences may be shared at www.parambofh.com.
